Eric Emerson

Eric Emerson is a seasoned aerospace engineer currently serving as the Lead Chief Engineer for Space & Lunar Programs at Blue Origin since April 2022. Previously, Eric held the position of Senior Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman, overseeing chief architect roles for NSS Space Vehicles and deputy chief engineer for ESPAStar Programs from February 2019 to April 2022. Eric's earlier experience includes roles at Orbital ATK, where responsibilities ranged from Staff Systems Engineer to Lead Electrical Power Subsystems Engineer from 2003 to 2019, and design engineering for electrical power subsystem avionics. Eric began a career in electronics as a Senior Electronics Technician at Eaton from 1997 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from Des Moines Area Community College.
