Helmut B. is the Sr. Manager of Engines Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety (RAMS) at Blue Origin, where they focus on integrating critical systems for reusable launch vehicles. They previously served as a Reliability, System Safety, & Specialty Engineering Manager and held roles including Mechanical Engineer and Systems Reliability Engineering Intern at Aerojet Rocketdyne. Helmut also worked as a Building Manager at Salisbury University and as a Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering, where they contributed to electronics reliability studies. Helmut earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
