Irshad Mohammad

Irshad Mohammad is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as an Instrumentation Engineer at Blue Origin since December 2021. Previously, Irshad held various roles at TE Connectivity, including Staff R&D/Product Development Engineer and Senior R&D/Product Development Engineer, where the focus was on research, design, and development of hall IC-based position sensors, as well as packaged sensor solutions. Prior experience includes a Product Engineer position at SSI Technologies, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed functional model development, engineering documentation maintenance, root-cause analysis of product failures, and CFD modeling. Irshad began the career as a Research Assistant at the Advanced Sensor Technology Laboratory at the University of Texas at Arlington, contributing to the development of wireless sensors for structural health monitoring. Academically, Irshad holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from IFET College of Engineering, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
