Jenny Shatts

Jenny Shatts is an experienced aerospace systems engineer with a diverse background in satellite and spacecraft systems. From September 2012 to April 2016, Jenny worked at SSL as an Electrical Vehicle / Attitude Control Engineer, contributing to the assembly, integration, and testing of commercial geostationary communication satellites. Jenny then became a Senior Spacecraft Systems Test Engineer at SSL, where responsibilities included optimization of production processes for small spacecraft in Low Earth Orbit, troubleshooting flight hardware, and developing necessary mechanical and electrical procedures. Subsequent positions included Senior Systems Engineer at Launcher, Robotics Systems Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Aerospace Systems Engineer at Blue Origin, focusing on software systems, requirements verification, and lunar permanence. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics Robotics and Automation Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, Jenny's extensive expertise spans multiple spacecraft programs, including the Mars 2020 mission and the Psyche Program.
