John Bamonte

John Bamonte, PMP, currently serves as the Deputy Director of New Shepard Operations and Maintenance at Blue Origin, a position held since November 2019. Prior experience includes Deputy Director of Vessel Engineering & Maintenance at Washington State Ferries from April 2018 to October 2019, and as Business/Project Manager at Dakota Creek Industries, Inc. between September 2015 and March 2018. Additionally, John held the role of Director for the EUCOM / AFRICOM / NATO Division at the Navy International Programs Office from July 2012 to July 2015, managing a foreign military sales portfolio exceeding $25 billion. Other notable positions include Operations Officer for Carrier Strike Group THREE and various roles at the Chief of Naval Operations and USS Abraham Lincoln. John's educational background includes a Master's in Management and Operations from Embry Riddle-Aeronautical University and a Bachelor's in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy.
