John Day is a highly experienced aerospace professional currently serving as a Lunar Flight Autonomy Architect at Blue Origin since August 2022. Day has previously held multiple key positions at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from April 2011 to August 2022, including Lead of the JPL Center for Autonomy and Deputy Project System Engineer for the Europa Clipper Pre-Project. Prior to that, Day founded lnspace Systems, providing systems engineering services, and was a Systems Engineer at both Lockheed Martin and Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Day holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
