John Welsh is a seasoned aerospace technical program manager and leader with over 20 years of experience as a retired Naval Officer. Currently serving as the New Glenn Launch Director at Blue Origin, John has demonstrated expertise in the strategic and tactical employment of SSBN operations throughout their military career, notably earning the Battle Efficiency Award as Executive Officer aboard the USS MAINE. With a dual degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, John also contributes as President of the Rappahannock Youth Symphony board and enjoys freelance photography.
