Jonathan Baker

Jonathan Baker possesses extensive experience in propulsion and structural engineering, currently serving as Manager of Combustion Devices at Blue Origin since October 2021, following roles as Propulsion Engineer III and Propulsion Engineer II. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at Aerojet Rocketdyne from July 2018 to October 2021 as a Structural Engineer, and earlier at UCSD's Mechanical and Aerospace Department as a Tutor. Jonathan's professional journey also includes a summer internship at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where contributions were made to the RS-25 rocket engine, and internships at General Dynamics NASSCO and Powell Structural Laboratory. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
