Jonathan Salontay is currently a Principal Vehicle Operations and Integration Engineer for the New Glenn Stage 1 at Blue Origin. They previously held various roles at the United States Air Force, including Systems Engineer for multiple engine performance and operability projects from 2010 to 2014. From 2018 to 2019, Jonathan served as a Lead Systems Engineer for the New Shepard Propulsion Module and later as a Senior Manager for Systems Engineering at Blue Origin. Additionally, they worked as the Systems Engineering Integration and Test Lead for Boeing's Proprietary Space Programs from 2021 to 2025. Jonathan earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and a Master's degree from Purdue University.
