Josh Matter

Josh Matter is a Lead Systems Engineer for the Crew Capsule at Blue Origin, with a robust background in the Defense and Space industry. They previously held positions as Senior Manager and Vehicle Manager for the New Shepard project and as Principal Project Controls Engineer at TerraPower LLC. Josh served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, where they managed technical teams and developed operational audit programs. Their earlier experience includes supervising at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit and conducting research as a Lab Research Assistant at Michigan State University, where they earned a BS in Chemical Engineering.
