Jules Scogna

Jules Scogna is an experienced design engineer and aspiring astronaut who specializes in fluid and mechanical systems for reusable rockets and space vehicles. Currently serving as the Director of New Glenn Stage 1 Fluid Systems at Blue Origin, Jules has previously held leadership roles in pneumatic systems and fluid systems within the same organization. Jules has contributed to projects involving propellant valves, deployment systems, and inflatable space structures, while also gaining experience at companies like Bigelow Aerospace and Synthes. Jules earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
