Katie Baum

Katie Baum is an accomplished aerospace systems engineer with extensive experience in quality assurance and project management. Currently serving as an Aerospace Systems Engineer III at Blue Origin, Katie focuses on New Glenn vehicle certification and compliance for US Government contracts, leveraging expertise in aerospace manufacturing standards and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Previous roles include Quality Engineer II at Blue Origin, Quality Assurance Manager at AV-Tech Industries, and Rental and Event Manager at Earlyworks Children's Museum. Katie also possesses a diverse background in sales and customer service, including positions at State Farm and Aflac, in addition to internships with the Florida Department of Transportation and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida.
