Matt Perry

Matt Perry is a Principal Propulsion Engineer at Blue Origin, where they have been since 2025. Previously, they served as a Propulsion Engineer and later as a Senior Propulsion Engineer at BLUE ORIGIN from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Electric Jet, LLC. from 2009 to 2018. Matt's early career included roles as a Research Engineer at the Virginia Tech Turbomachinery Lab and as both a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Virginia Tech. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
