Michael Ahlmann has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the aerospace industry. Beginning as a Research Assistant at UC Davis from September 2007 to September 2009, Michael upgraded the MBFLO2 code for advanced fluid dynamics problems. Following that, Michael worked at Aerojet Rocketdyne as a Project Engineer from March 2009 to September 2022, leading significant projects including valve development for next-generation engines and refurbishment planning for rocket engines. Currently, Michael serves as the Senior Manager of Valves and Mechanisms at Blue Origin, starting in April 2022. Michael's early career includes an internship at Sandia National Laboratories, where assistance was provided on multidisciplinary problems. Michael holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
