Michael Leighty is a Lead Systems Engineer at Blue Origin since August 2022, bringing extensive experience in engineering roles. Previously, Michael served as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace from June 2015 to July 2022 and worked as a Field Engineer at both General Atomics from November 2012 to May 2015 and Baker Hughes from January 2011 to October 2012. Earlier in the career, Michael gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer at MagTek from November 2006 to January 2011. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, earned between 2004 and 2009.
