Michael Pines

Michael Pines is an experienced propulsion engineer currently employed at Blue Origin, LLC since September 2018, contributing to advancements in spaceflight technologies. Previously, Michael served as a mechanical engineer and field engineering manager at Novinium, Inc. from November 2016 to September 2018, where responsibilities included optimizing power cable networks. Between August 2012 and November 2016, Michael held the position of mechanical engineering manager at Tri-Tec Manufacturing, focusing on the development of electronic actuators and fire-safe ventilation valves for the U.S. Navy. Prior experience also includes a role in mechanical engineering at Northrop Grumman Corporation from August 2009 to August 2012. Michael earned a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
