Michael Reed is a structural and mechanical engineer specializing in challenging thermal environments and complex structural elements. After earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Michael served as a Laboratory Instructor and an Engineering Intern. They then progressed to roles at Blue Origin, where they currently lead a team in the design and delivery of a reusable landing gear system for human lunar landers. Michael's career focus remains on advancing human presence in space.
