Mike Seibert

Mike Seibert is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in mission planning and systems engineering. Currently serving as Mission Planning Lead for Lunar Permanence at Blue Origin since June 2022, Mike directs the development of mission planning system architecture and oversees flight plans and communication schedules. Previously, Mike held the position of Senior Staff Systems Architecture Engineer at Maxar Technologies, contributing to various projects, including lunar payload development for NASA and robotic operations for DARPA. Mike's earlier career at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory spanned over 12 years and included leadership roles in flight operations, mission management for the Spirit and Opportunity rovers, and the creation of training programs for engineering teams. Mike's educational background encompasses a Master of Science in Space Resources and a Master of Engineering in Space Operations, supplemented by a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
