Nicholas Y.

Nicholas Y. is currently a Senior Flight Software Lead at Blue Origin, overseeing the full lifecycle development of safety-critical flight systems. Previously, they worked at Boeing as a Real-Time Software Engineer, where they led the development of platform-agnostic infrastructure for aviation mission systems and re-architected hardware abstraction layers. They also served as a Software Engineering Manager, guiding a multi-functional team in developing mission-critical software. Nicholas gained early experience as an intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, designing custom testing algorithms for space applications. They hold a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno.
