Nitin Arora

Nitin Arora is an aerospace engineer with extensive experience in systems engineering and technical leadership in space exploration. Currently serving as Director of MK1 Vehicle System Engineering at Blue Origin since April 2023, Nitin leads technical efforts for the MK1 Lunar Lander. Prior roles include Senior GNC Engineer for SpaceX’s Starship first orbital flight and various leadership positions in Blue Origin's Human Landing System and Blue Moon missions. Nitin's early career at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory involved systems engineering and mission formulation. Academic credentials include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
