Philip Hahn is a distinguished aerospace engineer currently leading Space Systems Development Aerophysics at Blue Origin. With extensive experience in integrated simulation across various programming languages including FORTRAN, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink, Philip has contributed to aerothermal analysis and flight testing on multiple high-profile projects, such as NASA's Ares I-X mission and Blue Origin's New Shepard. Philip has held leadership roles, including Director of Engineering at both Lockheed Martin and i3, where they provided technical oversight and fostered talent within hypersonic design teams. Philip earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, complementing their solid foundation in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
