Roberta Frey

Roberta Frey is a Senior Aerospace Insulation Design Engineer specializing in Multi Layer Insulation and Thermal Shields, currently serving as the Responsible Engineer for New Glenn's second stage insulation. With a rich background in fashion design, Roberta has previously taught at various institutions, including the High School of Fashion Industries and the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. They also owned Roberta Frey Designs LLC, creating unique bridal gowns from 2013 to 2022. Prior to their current role at Blue Origin, Roberta held positions at Northrop Grumman and has extensive experience in both fashion and aerospace engineering. Roberta earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from Marymount College of Fordham University and pursued graduate work in Multicultural Education at SUNY New Paltz.
