Ryan Duffy is an experienced aerospace and software engineer currently employed at Blue Origin as an Embedded Software Engineer focused on the New Shepard project since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ryan worked at Hypercubes from February 2019 to September 2022, where flight software for a prototype hyperspectral satellite was developed, including a modular multi CPU/GPU architecture and command and telemetry structures. At SSL (Space Systems Loral) between June 2016 and November 2018, Ryan developed computer models for satellite subsystems and collaborated with engineering teams to enhance model fidelity. Ryan's earlier experience includes technical support at UMD Electrical & Computer Engineering, and various roles including production controller, warehouse order processor, lifeguard, and junior ranger. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland, achieved in 2016.
