Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith possesses extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as Director and Program Manager for the BE-3PM at Blue Origin since April 2016, where leadership of a cross-functional team of approximately 30 is emphasized in the design, manufacturing, testing, and flight of a launch vehicle engine. Prior to this role, Ryan worked at Aerojet Rocketdyne from June 2007 to April 2016 in various engineering positions including Propulsion Engineer and Project Engineer. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Washington, obtained in 2008, and a Master of Business Administration from the UW Foster School of Business, earned in 2022.
