Simon Honigmann

Simon Honigmann is a Robotics Software Engineer at Blue Origin since January 2021. Previously, Simon held the position of Visiting Student Researcher at Stanford University School of Engineering, where research focused on autonomous aerial vehicles and their operational capabilities in cluttered environments. Simon's experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at the EPFL Laboratory of Intelligent Systems, a Mechatronics Engineer at Caulys, and an Undergraduate Research Engineer at the UBC Robotics and Control Lab, where significant advancements in medical technology were achieved. Other positions included internships at Oceaneering, Powell Canada Inc., and UBC Faculty of Applied Science. Simon holds a Master’s of Robotics in Mobile Robotics from EPFL and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) from The University of British Columbia.
