Fergason had previously worked at Boeing Satellite Systems and Sierra Nevada Corporation, contributing to advancements in space survivability and propulsion subsystems. They earned their Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and have extensive experience leading cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and manage costs effectively.
