Steven Xu

Steven Xu is a highly experienced aerospace professional with a diverse background in propulsion systems and project management. Currently serving as Sr Project Team Lead at Blue Origin, Steven oversees the BE-4 ignition system for Vulcan and New Glenn Engines, managing a sizable team in a matrix organization. Prior experience includes senior roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where responsibilities encompassed leading design and qualification efforts for propulsion systems, as well as managing comprehensive project tasks. Steven's technical skills are complemented by a strong academic foundation, holding a Master’s degree in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
