Tom Hess

Tom Hess is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on the Lunar Team at Blue Origin, where they currently lead innovative manufacturing efforts. Previously, Tom worked as a Production / AI&T Engineer at Astranis Space Technologies, contributing to spacecraft testing and design. Their early career includes significant roles at General Motors, encompassing testing and research in electric drive units, battery systems, and fuel cells. Tom has a strong academic background with both a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where they also served as a Graduate Student Researcher.
