Victor Herrera

Victor Herrera is a Senior Thermal Analyst at Blue Origin since December 2021, specializing in thermal and fluid analysis of the BE-4 rocket engine with a focus on heat transfer in the main injector. Prior to this role, Victor spent over 11 years at ExxonMobil as a Heat Transfer Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and troubleshooting various types of heat exchangers, addressing unique heat transfer challenges in the oil and gas sector, and leading R&D projects on heat exchanger systems. Victor holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Proficient in software such as ANSYS, Thermal Desktop, and HTRI, Victor combines strong technical expertise with hands-on field experience in large petrochemical operations.
