Zach Usher

Zach Usher is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Manager in Fluids & Propulsion for Lunar Permanence at Blue Origin since October 2025. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Program Manager for Vulcan Upgrades at United Launch Alliance from July 2022 to September 2025. At Lockheed Martin, Zach held various positions from Manager of Propulsion & Harness Engineering to Propulsion Engineer, contributing significantly to the Orion spacecraft program and managing critical propulsion subsystems. Early career roles include design engineering at GE's Edison Engineering Development Program, an engineering research assistant at the University of Denver, and a field engineering intern at Schlumberger. Zach holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver.
