Michael Slaughter

Michael Slaughter, CFA has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Michael is currently a Vice President at Blue Owl Capital, where they deal with liquid credit. Prior to this, Michael worked at Barings as an Associate Director, focusing on high yield credit research analysis. At Capital Group, they served as a High Yield Credit Research Associate, supporting investment analysts across various sectors. Michael also gained experience at AllianceBernstein as a Fixed Income Associate, rotating through different areas of credit research and portfolio management. In addition to their financial roles, Michael was the Founder and Owner of an e-commerce business called Tons of Cards and More, which achieved significant growth over 12 years. Michael also participated in internships at Tudor Investment Corporation.

Michael Slaughter, CFA, holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Sacred Heart University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Michael has also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in June 2020.
