John Peake

John Peake is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in systems architecture and automation technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Systems Architect at Blue River Technology since May 2017, John focuses on machine learning-based computer vision systems for agricultural optimization. Previously, John held the position of Auto-steering Architect at Peloton Technology, where responsibilities included functional safety strategy and analysis for semi-autonomous trucking solutions. Prior to that, John spent over a decade at Trimble in various leadership roles, including Distinguished Engineer and Engineering Manager, overseeing the development of advanced vehicle automation systems for precision agriculture. John's career began with roles as an Electrical Engineer and software developer, leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Auckland.
