Steve Opilo

Steve Opilo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of web development and DevOps engineering. Steve started their career as a Technology Coordinator at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005, where they designed and maintained promotional websites and web-based event applications. Steve also supervised other web developers and presented a seminar on technology-enhanced event planning.

From 2009 to 2014, Steve worked as a Senior Web Developer at Marriner Marketing Communications, developing and maintaining websites for clients in the foodservice industry using various web technologies.

In 2014, Steve joined Track5Media as a Lead Web Application Developer, where they built a cutting-edge job board framework for multiple websites.

In 2016, Steve became a Web Application Developer at Wilson Logistics Inc., where they designed and developed responsive websites for different trucking companies.

In 2017, Steve joined Covenant Eyes as a Web Applications Developer and later became a DevOps Engineer. Steve was responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise web applications and microservices. Steve also provided training to new developers and ensured high-quality code.

Steve also has freelancing experience as a Web Developer, where they designed, developed, and maintained websites and web-based applications for various clients.

Most recently, Steve started working as a DevOps Engineer at Blue Sentry Cloud in 2023.

Steve Opilo attended Spring Grove Area Senior High School from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a high school diploma. Steve then pursued higher education at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology.
