Daniel Simpson is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Cybersecurity Department Graduate Program at the University of Maryland Global Campus and as a Senior Security Advisor and Engineer at Blue Team Alpha. Daniel's military background includes significant roles in the United States Air Force, progressing from a Computer Systems Operator Student to Senior Manager of Cyber Operations Support, where duties included overseeing critical cyber operations. Prior to this, Daniel held senior management positions at the National Reconnaissance Office and the National Security Agency, focusing on information assurance and security management. Daniel possesses a comprehensive educational background with a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Security from American Military University, along with a Bachelor of Science in IT Management and an Associate degree in Information Systems Technology.
