Derrick Lamers

Derrick Lamers is a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in network and systems administration. Currently serving as the Network and Systems Administrator at NBS Commercial Interiors since August 2016, Derrick has successfully led significant infrastructure projects, including a complete overhaul of network systems for multiple locations and the implementation of a vSphere HA cluster. Previously, Derrick owned and managed Lamers Creative, a website design company that provided comprehensive design and development services. Derrick's earlier roles include Information Technology Manager at Michigan Legacy Credit Union, where responsibilities included IT network management and technical support, and Information Technology Specialist at Genisys Credit Union, supporting a large user base across numerous locations. Derrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Walsh College and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Macomb Community College.
