Matt Wheelis

Matt Wheelis currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy for the Build & Construct Division at Nemetschek Group, where the Strategy & Industry Development team focuses on long-term strategic planning, M&A opportunities, and cross-brand innovation. In addition to this role, Matt has held various advisory positions at multiple organizations, including Bluebeam, NEVARIS Bausoftware GmbH, SmartPM Technologies, Inc., and Sablono, all representing Nemetschek Group. Previous experience includes significant leadership roles at Leica Geosystems and Autodesk, where Matt was instrumental in business development and strategic direction within the building construction sector. Matt holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BA in Accounting from Southwestern University.
