Paul Starkey

Paul Starkey has had a long and varied career in the creative industry. Paul began their career in 1997 as a Graphic Designer at Maryland Coast Dispatch, where they used their skills in ad design and learned QuarkExpress. In 1999, they moved to Ocean City Today as their Art Director, overseeing the graphic design production of the weekly newspaper, including advertising design and newspaper layout. Paul also administered the transformation of the work flow from paper to a digital PDF output to printer. In 2004, they became Creative Director at InnTerActive Marketing. In 2006, they took on two roles, Graphic Designer at Coastal Style Magazine and Marketing Specialist at Carl M. Freeman Associates. In 2018, they became CEO of BlueberryCMS. Paul is currently the CEO and Founder of Sprout Creatives, a position they have held since 2007.

Paul Starkey attended Frostburg State University from 1988 to 1993, studying Graphic Design. Paul then attended Salisbury University from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.
