Pierre Lamon

Pierre Lamon is an accomplished professional in the field of robotics with extensive experience in research and development. Since September 2006, Pierre has served as the VP of Research at BlueBotics SA, leading the software team and overseeing research initiatives. Prior to this role, Pierre held the position of Research Manager, focusing on technology transfer and software and electronics development. Pierre also worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at EPFL-ASL from December 2005 to September 2006, where responsibilities included leading the technical project for the SmartTer autonomous smart car, and previously, as a senior researcher at ETH Zurich, Pierre directed the SmartTer project. Pierre's earlier experience includes research in decentralized data fusion at LAAS-CNRS during a postdoctoral fellowship in 2005. Pierre earned a PhD in Robotics from EPFL between 2000 and 2005.
