Dave Weir has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Dave most recently served as the VP of Software Development at Bluedrop ISM since October 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Verafin starting in 2013, holding various roles including Product Manager, Card Fraud and Team Lead, Sales Engineering. From 2011 to 2013, Dave was the Software Development Manager at Triton Data. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer / Technical Architect at zedIT Solutions Inc. and as a Software Engineering Manager at Progress Software. Dave began their career at Nortel as a Senior Software Engineer.
Dave Weir attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1993 to 1999. Dave earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Computing during this time.
