Matthew Guerrero

Matthew Guerrero is the Associate Vice President of Program Implementation at Blue Engine, where they collaboratively develop visions for program implementation and manage partnerships to create impactful educational change. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Matthew became a member of Teach For America, believing in the importance of national service for societal health. They taught full-time at DC Prep while pursuing a Master’s in Special Education from George Mason University. Matthew's extensive experience includes roles as a Special Education coordinator and Senior Academy Teacher at DC Prep, as well as serving as a Corps Member Advisor and School Operations Manager with Teach For America.
