Raymond Cañada

Raymond Cañada has extensive work experience in the education sector. Raymond began their career as a Mathematics Teacher at Mastery Charter Schools from August 2007 to June 2010. Afterward, they joined Achievement First, where they held multiple roles. From August 2010 to June 2019, Raymond served as a Mathematics Teacher, and from August 2012 to July 2014, they also worked as a Special Education Specialist. Additionally, they held the position of Curriculum Fellow from June 2015 to June 2019 at Achievement First. Most recently, Raymond Cañada joined Blue Engine in July 2019 as a Senior Director, focusing on Co-Teaching Program Coaching and Coaching Development.

Raymond Cañada completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Following that, from 2002 to 2005, they pursued further education at Pace University, although the degree and field of study are not specified. Additionally, they obtained a Mathematics 7-12 Professional Certificate from the New York State Education Department in September 2006, and a Students with Disabilities Generalist Professional Certificate (Grades 7 - 12) in July 2014, from the same institution.
