James Sampson

James Sampson has worked in the software development industry since 2011. James began their career at Sparkhound as a Senior Application Developer I, where they worked with clients and coworkers on scrum teams to gather requirements and develop applications/features for the client projects. In 2015, they moved to Digital Monitoring Solutions (DMS) as a Senior Lead Architect, where they worked to evolve and standardize development practices for development and focused on creating stable, efficient, quality, and fun products suited for use in the healthcare industry for DMS clients. Since 2017, they have been the Chief Information Officer at BLUEFIN DATA LLC, where they gather requirements, plans, and architectures across the company's ecosystem to handle client and internal requirements within their LOB application - VESL. James also monitors system performance, security, reliability, integrity, and provides mentorship and guidance to the team regarding topics both technical and not.

James Sampson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from McNeese State University between 2006 and 2010. James then obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCPD: Silverlight Developer 4, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCTS: Silverlight 4, Development, MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, MCPD: Web Developer 4, MCPD: Windows Azure Developer, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Service Communication Applications, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Data Access, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications, and MCSD: Web Applications, between 2011 and 2014.
