Ross Davis

Design Engineer at blueflite

Ross Davis has a diverse work experience that spans from 2018 to 2023. Ross started working as an Exterior Painter at Magna Lucas Pradiatior, and later worked as a member of the MSU Robotics Club. In 2020, they worked as a Bicycle Mechanic at BRICK WHEELS and as a Career Peer at The Center for Spartan Engineering. At the same time, they also worked as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant at the Physics Department of Michigan State University. In 2021, Ross became an Onboard Systems Engineer at Blueflite (previously Flugauto), where they developed a 3D printable battery case. In 2022, they worked as an Antenna Products Mechanical Engineering Intern at Lockheed Martin, and as a Design and Prototyping Co-op at Blueflite. Ross also worked with NASA from September 2021 to June 2023, where they were the Drone/Mechanical Team Lead for the University Student Research Challenge. Ross' current role is as a Mechanical Engineer at blueflite, which they started in 2023.

Ross Davis is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. Ross began their studies there in 2019 and is set to graduate in 2023. In January 2022, Ross obtained certification from the Federal Aviation Administration for Part 107.
