Mark W.

Mark W. serves as General Counsel at BlueForge Alliance since July 2025, bringing extensive legal expertise from previous roles, including Deputy Chief Counsel at Axiom Space and General Counsel at FlightAware and Satcom Direct. Mark's military experience spans from May 1987 to January 2017 with the USMC, retiring as a Colonel and serving as a Judge Advocate and Naval Flight Officer, including roles as a Military Judge and Trial Counsel. Earlier civilian roles include Principal Training & Development Specialist at Raytheon and General Counsel at AAR Airlift Group, Inc. Mark co-founded a legal practice as a Partner/Shareholder at Williams Mullen and holds a JD with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
