Mark Schmidt

Mark Schmidt is a dynamic and innovative visionary currently serving as the Director of Business Development at AV, where they lead efforts in integrating advanced technologies across multiple domains for defense operations. Previously, Mark held various significant roles, including Commander of the Airfield Operations Flight at Andrews Air Force Base and Program Manager for the BASH Team at the Air Force Safety Center, focusing on wildlife hazard reduction. With extensive experience in air traffic management and instruction, Mark has also contributed to the education sector as an instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the University of Phoenix. Mark's military career includes a distinguished service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, managing operations and instruction across a range of aviation and safety programs. They earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and continue to impact the field with their expertise.
