Will Watson

Will (he/him/his) is a Data Scientist at BlueLabs, where he works on a variety of ML and analytics projects. He double-majored in math and music at Stanford, and then followed the latter path for a while, earning a Ph.D. in historical musicology from Yale (his research area was medieval love songs—no, but actually). After finding his way back to mathy things as a Data Science Fellow at Insight, he worked for two years as a data scientist at GEICO, where he built recommender engines and helped to develop data-driven strategies for personalizing the customer experience.
