Mark Wasson

Mark Wasson has worked for BlueLinx for the past 40 years, and currently serves as Regional Vice President, North Region. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration Degree, both from Southern Illinois University. Upon graduation from Southern Illinois University, Mr. Wasson managed a retail lumber company, Timberhouse Corporation. He joined Georgia-Pacific Corporation (later becoming BlueLinx) in 1978 as a Territory Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana. He held various Sales and Product Management positions in Indianapolis and Chicago, and became the General Manager of the Elkhart, Indiana Distribution Center in 1984. Mr. Wasson later was appointed as the District Manager- Eastern Midwest supervising 13 distribution centers, and then became the National Business Unit Manager for Industrial/Manufactured Housing. In 2006, Wasson was named Regional Vice President and in 2014 became the Vice President-Sourcing and Product Management. Mr. Wasson has served on the Board of Directors for the RV/MH Heritage Foundation. He is also a member of the North American Wholesale Lumber Association 10 Group.
