Eric Smith, CPA, is currently the Head of Accounting at BlueMatrix, where they leverage their extensive expertise in private equity accounting and strategic business leadership. With thirteen years of progressive experience as a Vice President and Corporate Controller in PE-backed SaaS and healthcare roll-up companies, Eric has a strong background in financial reporting infrastructure, system integration, and process improvement. Prior to their current role, Eric served as Controller at EyeSouth Partners and AutoQuotes, and held positions including Senior Assurance Associate at PwC and Staff Auditor at Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP. Eric obtained a Master of Accountancy from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution.
