Alex Ayres

Alex Ayres is an experienced sales professional currently serving as the Head of Sales at BlueOptima since October 2022. Prior roles at BlueOptima include Sales Manager and Senior Account Executive. Before joining BlueOptima, Alex held the position of Head of Sales and Business Development at PI-KEM Ltd from December 2019 to October 2022. Prior experience also includes roles as an Account Manager and Graduate Account Manager at Imaging Equipment Ltd from April 2015 to June 2018. Academic achievements include a PhD in Chemistry and an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, where attendance spanned from 2011 to 2017 and 2007 to 2011, respectively, alongside A-level qualifications in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths from Clevedon Community School.
