Ethan Smith

Ethan Smith is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in product design, service design, and design systems. Currently serving as the Director at Quanata since September 2021, Ethan oversees experience strategy and design initiatives. Previously, Ethan held the position of Design Principal at Expedia Group, leading a multidisciplinary team to enhance customer experiences in travel services. Additional roles include Head of Product Design at PowerReviews, Director of Design & User Experience at Devbridge Group, and Creative Director at Gorilla Group, showcasing a strong background in E-commerce and software design. Ethan has also contributed as a guest speaker and instructor at General Assembly, and has held various design positions across notable organizations since the early 2000s. Ethan's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Multimedia from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor of Science in Music from Illinois State University.
